I have had the opportunity to work for Dr. Walker since 1991 and have worked all positions in the office throughout the years. I am the office manager; which allows me the unique role of working both behind the scenes and directly with patients! I am a lifelong resident of Crawford and Mercer counties. I enjoy spending my time with my children, ages 16 and 21, going to the beach, and spending time with my family and friends.
I have been with Crawford Eye Associates since May of 1997. I am the clinical technician and my job involves pre-testing and the performance of diagnostic testing so that the patient is ready to be seen by the doctor. I enjoy my position because of the interaction with the patients – my goal is to make them smile and have a great experience while getting their eyes tested! My favorite part is teaching people how to wear contacts – especially teaching kids! How their eyes light up when they can see without their glasses!
I have been in Pennsylvania since 1981, I lived in Colorado prior and it is a beautiful state! Between me and my husband, we have four children and eight beautiful grandchildren! I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren, tending to my flowers, traveling to Colorado, and having my Labrador, Zoie, by my side.
I have worked in the optical field for the last 37 years. For the last 15 years, I have been employed with Crawford Eye Associates. In 2010, I became a board certified optician through the American Board of Opticianry. My primary job involves all aspects of selecting, fitting, and dispensing eyewear. Crawford Eye Associates has a finishing lab that allows me to edge prescriptions lenses right here in our office. I am also trained in clinical and patient care functions; including front desk tasks, pre-testing, and running diagnostic testing. I am married living in Townville with two children. We are kept busy with our children and their sporting events. We also enjoy camping during holidays.
I have several years of experience in customer service. I have worked for Crawford Eye Associates since November of 2017, which makes me the newest staff member. My primary job is the receptionist and managing the front desk and reception area. I am enjoying the opportunity to learn about health care and play a part in promoting ocular health! I recently moved from Oil City to the Meadville area when I got married last year. My husband and I enjoy gardening, biking, hiking, and anything that involves being outdoors.
